Yes, those photos when you do a google search are pretty racy and some might even be "Not suitable for Work", depending on which ones show up. I remember reading that when much later on the play "Party" was written and produced, the author wanted to do something similar in having a happy play, kind of an antidote to the "Boys in the Band", though, of course, with the entire company getting naked by show's end. But "And Puppy Dog Tails" sounds like quite an important step in making gay guys normal and not lashing out/unsatisfied or murders or victims like other representations had been theretofore. Of course, he did have some of them naked too, but that's ok. :) |
