I've seen Peters twice and Murphy once and I preferred them both to Midler. I just found their performances as Dolly more engaging and relatable. Peters moved me while I loved Murphy's singing. Murphy made me laugh even more than Peters. I am going back to see Peters on Thursday. I do hope I am seated downstairs. I was spoiled because one of my TDF seats seeing Peters was in Row F orchestra.
My only regret is that when I went to catch Santino Fontana I was seating up in the balcony. The sound up there was fine but I wanted to see Fontana more closely. |
