| Sounds like she got bumped up to "Alternate" and the other person remains as "Understudy" in the role. Each case is different, but generally the "Alternate" will not be in the ensemble for the other performances saving her voice for the ones where she goes on as "Eliza". The "Sunday matinee Hamilton", for instance, is not in the ensemble the other performances, but the "understudy" is. | |
