A bit of weird Broadway trivia in the film HEARTS BEAT LOUD

Ted Danson plays a bartender (not a stretch) named Dave, who talks at one point about having starred on Broadway briefly in a play, while a playbill from Status Quo Vadis is shown framed on the wall.

That play, written and directed by the late Donald Driver, ran one night on Broadway--February 18th, 1973. In the cast, making his Broadway debut in a supporting role as a bartender, was a twenty-five year old actor named...Ted Danson.

Seth, who also really enjoyed the movie and sincerely hopes that Kiersey Clemons will do a musical at some point cause GIRL CAN SING
