| What about Mrs Mullin's line to Billy at the end of the first act: "I wouldn't speak to you again if you were dying."...That sets up her appearance in act two..where she does not speak at all to the dead body of Billy. There is no closure for Mrs Mullin. A very foolish cut (IMHO). |
