He has hardly been in NYC since the so-called inauguration, except for some days last August when he made the notorious, equivocating "both sides" comment about the neo-Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville that month. And there were protestors all around his forbidding "tower" the whole time he was in his very hometown. He knows the people of NYC don't like him and he's not likely to go to any Broadway show where audiences would stand up and cheer if HRC or Obama walked in. The wife knows now that NYC also dislikes her too. Her "I don't really care" jacket was a reaction to a NY Times op-ed piece called The King and Queen of Cruelty by Charles M. Blow.
Her husband might enjoy a local production of Cabaret in West Virginia. |
