Please give me a moment to collect myself. This show left me drained!
What a voice. What a showman. And soooo gorgeous!
So we all know he has a great voice, but it’s his acting that really puts his show over the top. He’s masterful.
Opening was a powerful Once In A Lifetime.
Next a jazzy, riffy Old Devil Moon.

Being Alive (I think the best I’ve ever heard)
High Flying Adored
Granada (in Spanish)
Guido (from Nine - hysterically funny)
A Brazilian medley of Once In Loved and Desafinado ( in Portuguese)
Losing My Mind (devastating. The acting. )

A bossa nova medley of Baubles, Bangles and Beads plus most of the songs from South Pacific that weren’t his - genius)

Some Enchanted Evening
Paulo also announced he just signed to open as Peron in a new Hal Prince Evita - sadly, its in Australia.
Altogether a thrilling evening. |
