| John Simon once gave her a very bad review in New York Magazine “covering” her nude scene in the 1970 production of Abelard and Héloise. “Diana Rigg,” he wrote, “is built like a brick mausoleum with insufficient flying buttresses.” Any actress who laughs about that (and quoted it in her book) isn't going to be offended by anything we say about her. |
