| If Spielberg is so desperate to direct a movie in the musical genre, set in the streets of New York City, with a hot score that blends musical styles and influences, and featuring a predominantly Latino cast, but which also has contemporary relevance to today, I have no idea why he hasn’t been bidding for the rights to this, as opposed to apparently being so desperate to do an utterly unnecessary remake of West Side Story. |
