Yes. It’s hard to remember the plot. Wasn’t there something about the Karen Olivo character wanting to go out with someone who had darker skin than her and it was an issue (for her parents?)? And stuff about going to college? And the grandmother winning the lottery and then dying, too? It kinda needs and could profit by what Milos Forman did for the movie of “Hair.” Sculpt a storyline.
I agree with those who think that Lin-Manuel is already a known commodity and it’s fashionable to know who he is. So he could star, even if he’s a bit too old now. But...other stars? I don’t know. I think they should pull from the music celebrity world. Could Michael Jackson’s daughter be in it? |
