She has no idea what it takes to play that role. Her role is small by comparison. Eliza isn't just a tough sing. It's a tough talk too and the combination is treacherous.
Errr... absent the singing, Diana Rigg knows exactly how tough the speaking role of Eliza is. Better than most.
And if, per Riedel, the schedule change is in part because Ambrose is "fretting about not spending enough time with her husband and their two children," then I'm 100% Team Diana. |
