| Well, Russell did that rather brilliantly in his film version of "The Boy Friend". I do recall Liza was announced for Evita at one point. I think that Olivia Newton-John (!) was also considered for the film due to her recording of "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina", plus she had several years prior had a big film hit in "Grease". |
