Since I have a Sunday matinee ticket, I am so glad to hear that Kerstin Anderson is doing a great job. I saw her in the Sound of Music tour and really liked her.
One thing I found interesting when I saw the show with Ambrose and Hadden-Paton is that I got absolutely no sense that Eliza had any romantic interest in Higgins whatsoever. There's a line where she briefly considers it, but Ambrose was so clearly dismissive of that possibility that it seemed inevitable that they would not be together at the end. Does it seem the same with Anderson? |
