| I meant that throughout the show, Eliza seemed to have no interest in Higgins at all. I think the show is generally played that there’s a little potential chemistry going on. I got none of that from Ambrose. It sounds like Anderson is playing it the same way, so that’s Sher’s point of view. And it makes sense. Higgins is handsome and wealthy but in this production, he is so dismissive of Eliza as a person throughout their interactions that she would never think of him as a man, only as a taskmaster. |
