I’ve never seen Sierra as herself before. I’m freakin blown away.
Firstly, there was a crowd of people on that stage last night: a powerhouse Broadway belter, an operatic soprano, a raconteur, a stand up comedian, a French chanteuse, a Las Vegas entertainer, an earthy down home gal from Colorado, not to mention a Botticelli painting come to life. All Sierra.
Let me also mention that she has been a delight to sail with all week, just a fantastic person. She’s traveling with her (also gorgeous and talented) sister, and their third sister is currently in the pit playing cello for Mean Girls. That family hit the genetic jackpot!
I wish I could share her stories and humor, but I couldn’t do it justice. Just see her in cabaret if you ever have the chance.
Opening was a trumpet blast of I Have Confidence.
Lusty Month of May
Think Of Me (four ways **)
Part of That World
A Little Bit Less Than (Shoulda Been You)
I Don’t Care
I Could Have Danced All Night (don’t even get me started on what could have been. Sierra should be playing the part)
Stars
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes (devastating)
If They Could See Me Now
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
Over The Rainbow
** She sang Think of Me in French, Japanese, English, and in the style of a cheesy Vegas performer. Priceless!
I’m in awe. |
