| "Groundhog Day*" closing quickly shocked me. Brand name title, adult but charming comedy with happy ending, great reviews, already well liked star giving career high performance. "SpongBob" -- is anyone really surprised? I didn't think it would make it this long. I couldn't fathom how they'd fill the non-matinee seats. And they didn't, clearly. Wasn't it always a dubious prospect? *Still believe it would've done well this season, and Karl would've walked away with a Tony. |
