I thought the dining scene was well done by both Peters and Midler ... seems to me they just kind of "roll with it" and add another 5 or so really fun minutes to the show.
And yes, Stemp is a good dancer, but I just felt his dancing scenes were forced...."we hired this guy, we have to give him something to do!" I didn't *not* enjoy it but if I had to take dancing vs. another dinner course for Dolly, i'd take the meal. |
