| Might have taken sets from spongebob. Yazbek would have still won. But I do think the Jewish voting as a group would still make bands visit the favorite for best musical although I don’t know how big of a voting block that is and it may not be as solid as tour producing voting block. It still is the more intelligent and artistic musical of the group which gets a lot of tony voters vs popular hit shows. But It wouldn’t be a slam dunk like it was without Groundhog Day. Lenk would still have won over anyone in Groundhog. So would tony win over Andy? That is a hard call. I think votes to Ethan would have gone to Andy. So it still might have gone to tony. | |
