| That balcony is just in another city, isn't it? I haven't sat up there since ... wait for it ... Shirley MacLaine's show. I saw her after "Belle of Amherst," to put a timeline on it, racing from the Julie Harris 8 p.m. performance to Shirley's second show on a Saturday. All of the cliches -- you need oxygen, whatever -- apply. |
