| I was there for the Sunset Boulevard revival and utterly dismayed by how far away the stage was ... went to the management and asked if I could switch to Standing Room which would be substantially closer, and not only did they allow me that, they discreetly switched me to wheelchair companion spot, mere feet from the stage, during the opening moments. It made for an indelibly magical memory. (And I learned to (a) not choose the balcony there ever again, and (b) bring binoculars to performances, just in case). |
