| I'm talking with a friend about the Steve Allen score for the TV movie of Alice in Wonderland and particularly "Walrus and the Carpenter." Now, the lyrics for "Walrus and the Carpenter" are pretty much 4/4 (four beats per line) but it's been musicalized as 3/4. I'm pretty sure I've come across other examples of this before but they're slipping my mind. Any from you all? |
