So shows "need to be debated" against a yardstick of current socio-political reality when it comes to Israel but not for other topics? That's convenient. Did I miss the impassioned debate about real-life teen suicide rates and bullying when Mean Girls opened? Did I miss your posts about how Pretty Woman "erases the debate about injustice by shifting it to humanitarian uplift" as regards prostitution, or were you saving that for the Broadway opening?
Meanwhile, I am still waiting for any evidence that there is a "Jewish voting block" -- much less a "liberal Zionist voting block" -- monolithically approving Tony Award recognition. Anyone? Bueller? |
