| I think it may depend on the reception of MARY POPPINS RETURNS and his performance in it. It's his big debut as a film leading man, assuming his role is similar in size and scope to Dick Van Dyke's in the original film, and, if it goes pear-shaped, I imagine that it would make sense to explore other options for the lead in IN THE HEIGHTS. But, if it's a huge success, it would make just as much sense to make any adjustments necessary for him to play the role in IN THE HEIGHTS and, of course, in the later, inevitable, HAMILTON film. |
