| I spent a week in NYC last may, saw various shows, including GOLDEN APPLE and DOLLY. I went to see CHICAGO, at the ambassador. I first saw the show in summer of '77 with Jerry Orbach, Elaine Cancilla and Ann Reinking as Roxie. Saw the 3 original starts of CHICAGO in Chicago in winter of '78; The encores production has been in Detroit 5 times(I think) and I've attended 4 different touring productios. Why see CHICAGO a seventh time? Partly there wasn't much else on MON nite theate I wanted to see, but even with more time and more $ I'd go back. Like ACL, the show Moves, the songs are classic. It's one of my all time favorites |
