Just this year it’s made 69.7% of potential gross and 88% capacity. That’s $18m this year! Most
Shows of that size (smallish musical) would be envious of those numbers. As for shubert, why kick it out? Ambassador isn’t a prime theater that usually houses limited run plays. So lots of dark weeks between shows and plays usually run a lot lower weekly gross that $600kish. Chicago brings in money 52 weeks a year to shuberts. |
