| The idea of an urban family relocating to the country and trying to fit in with the eccentric locals isn't the worst idea for a show, but I can't quite figure out why that basic idea needs to be tied to a 50 year old sitcom that is mostly forgotten today. Just write an original show based on this idea and have the creators talk in the press materials about how they were inspired by their love of GREEN ACRES or any other versions of that basic story that come to mind. If they think the title is going to sell any tickets, I think they're mistaken. |
