| I think it's likely that he DID need to help his father and has done all that he could do in that regard and now this movie is his next job. He probably did not want to commit to doing PRETTY WOMAN in New York, including all the rehearsals and learning of new material, at a time when he honestly did not know what his time commitment to his family would need to be. |
