| There was an Al Pacino movie about a serial killer(I forget the film's name) but SPOILER ALERT a disreputable character worked in a record store and he got VERY upset with a customer who confused sound track with cast album....... When I first moved to Michigan there was a music store, all 'classical' except for Bway shows. they did not even list symphonies by composer, they were listed alphabetically by conductor.And the Broadway section, at the front of the store. Was arranged by, first, cast albums, then soundtracks, London Cast albums, Ben Bagley, and lastly, vocals and anthologies .Heaven it was to be young in that store! |
