| It's been reported online that CBS didn't even submit the Tonys for Best Variety Special. Interestingly, seven of the eight living people who need the Emmy to complete the EGOT are Broadway composers: Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Elton John, Stephen Sondheim, and Alan Menken. (Menken has a non-competitive special Emmy). The other person is John Legend. |

| If CBS didn't submit the Tonys, I guess the show's nominated lighting team submitted themselves. (And probably'll lose to ''Jesus Christ Superstar.'') | |

| For playing Katie Bonner in ''The Accidental Wolf.'' The category is: Outstanding Actress in a Short-Form Comedy or Drama Series. Arian Moayed and Kelli did ''King Lear'' at the Public, and Arian was such a fan of hers that he wrote a role for her. And now she's an Emmy nominee! |
