Chenoweth is pushing 50, Foster is in her early 40s. Neither looks her age (Foster trades on that on TV), but the show cries out for a viable age difference, a certain youthful grounding in Eileen. Foster might be a Ruth right now, but beyond age, I agree: Chenoweth is not a Ruth.
