Though I do respect her obvious talent, I have to say I also think that the above statement is very old news. I've been thinking that for years. She became that long ago, singing talent notwithstanding.
(That said, I did truly enjoy her a lot in the NBC Hairspray. Sometimes her scenery chewing does work appropriately well, lol.)
