| There apparently was a production of a musical of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" but apparently it wasn't supposed to have been worthy of its namesake. Perhaps some other writing team will take it on -- since there are more than one "Phantom", various versions of "La Boheme", etc. Bernadette would be brilliant especially singing some version of "I've Written a Letter for Daddy". | |

| Maybe that Death Becomes Her musical that Chenowith is attatched to...they would make a great Madeline and Helen. | |

| That would be a hoot although I'd hate to see Idina confined to a wheelchair...….they were developing this for Bette Midler years ago. I wonder what's happened to it. | |

| they were developing this for Bette Midler years ago. I wonder what's happened to it. I thought this was an April Fools joke (with Midler as Baby Jane, Streisand as Blanche, score by Kander and Sondheim, produced by Jerry Seinfeld). Are you sure it was real? Or are you thinking of the scene in The Rose? |

| Yes, but I don't think this had anything to do with Midler. That was a separate thing, just a few years ago, which was only an April Fools idea. | |

| Now THAT I like. Look, I saw "Wicked" with Kristin and Idina and thought they were both splendid and worked well together onstage, but I don't know that it's reasonable--other than as just a fun thought experiment--to assume we should be hoping they will reunite. What worked well, IMO, about the pairing of them in "Wicked" was that they were from different worlds, in terms of style (operetta vs. power ballad), appearance, and character. Most of the time, that might be an impediment--we often criticize an ensemble of actors who do not seem to be playing in the same world. | |

| I THINK it was even produced as a work in progress at the Denver Center Theater...…...not sure, but it's not a joke. | |
