| You're very generous to Rob's attempt to both rewrite history and make someone else's personal tragedy all about him. I think his post is helpful as a reminder that being in this business is all about navigating egos, whether your show runs for a week or a decade. I do wonder if any of the other long-running shows have amassed the body count of "Chicago" (said tongue firmly in cheek), but the toxicity on display with that show is only slightly more grotesque than the industry norm for bad behavior. I hope that this event does continue to expose how certain powerful people treat their employees, and that this does build into a proper movement. |
