Someone who doesn't get Ivo van Hove's name right is not an "excellent reporter." That isn't a typo. It's ignorance. He clearly has no idea who Ivo van Hove is, and clearly didn't bother doing any research.

Like the name of a Tony-winning and world-famous theatrical director in the second paragraph. The history of Friedman's controversial reporting is available online to anyone who knows how to use Google. Also, as a rule, ''excellent reporters'' don't get dumped, er, ''mutually agree to part ways immediately'' with Fox News over a breach of ethics.
