| The men in this play, three brothers, have severely arrested development. Because the two older ones used to call the youngest "Shit baby!" when they were growing up, they call him this name throughout the play. One of the brothers goes for a run, gets sweaty, dabs at his armpits with a wash cloth, then puts the washcloth down on his sleeping brother's nose. Just in case we didn't get the point, at a later moment in the play, while his brother is groggy with a hangover, he puts his toes close to the brother's nose. A dance sequence towards the middle of the play is amusing, but the choreography features a lot of pelvic thrusting,humping and, momentarily, simulated anal intercourse between two of brothers. What was that for, in terms of giving us information about the relationship between the three brothers? |
