| It reminds me of the year "Once" won, which I thought was a total snoozer as well. Sometimes the most popular show (as judged by the bridge & tunnel crowd, and the tourists) doesn't win. I read that this year's choice for best musical was more of a choice *against* the others (for many Tony voters), not *for* the winner. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the "winner" in my eyes. |
