In my experience, they will NEVER cancel unless they absolutely have to do it. I think the park has a hard stop time for the performance because the park closes and they want people out by whatever time. So, depending on the running time of the production, they will delay and/or stop the show until such time as it becomes apparent that they will be running past their hard stop time. I've been to productions that delayed the curtain due to weather AND stopped and restarted more than once when skies opened during the performance. Sometimes they continue to play, even in the rain, if there's no lightning and they think it's safe to continue.
So the website is correct. Always assume the show is going on. |
