| Like I say - I look forward to seeing her in the role. But the story is NOT now and NEVER will be about an older woman. It's about a girl/young woman. Its what Shaw wrote. Its what Lerner wrote. If we want to write a different story, then write a different story, but respect the authors. A 39-40 year old woman in that time frame a) wouldnt be a virgin, b) would not be even considered by Freddy, and would be a very difficult sell for Mrs Higgins to find a hubby for. |
