The last thing I read was in June when The Public announced the rest of their season. This is a quote from the NYT.
“The season will not include a new musical by Stephen Sondheim, based on two films by Luis Buñuel, that the composer at one point had hoped would be ready for a production at the Public Theater last year. A spokeswoman for the Public, Candi Adams, said “it’s a musical in development, and we will happily be doing it when it’s ready.”
I hope it will be included next season and that we get some news on it soon! Looking forward to it. |
