It’s a great piece, but no one really seemed to want to revive it unlike gypsy or les miz or Sondheims works. Like MAME, it just seemed like it would never get revived on broadway. So I’m surprised that Herman has the power to get that deal. And if he got 2/3 if it (music and lyrics)
Does Thornton Wilde estate get anything since it is based on his 1955 play? |
