Never heard that either, and I have a file cabinet drawer full of Rona Barrett's HOLLYWOOD from that era.
LM was offered FAMILY PLOT, but it was going before the cameras same time as NY,NY so she declined
and studio would not agree to her asking price..
The one film Liza Minnelli is on the record as having regrets on not doing is "Cinderella Liberty"
which would have been her first film after Cabaret, she opted on touring the world and giving it her all on stage,instead. |
