| I agree. I was there, too, and the great Hagen was all the more magnificent because we frankly expected her to be. Farrow was fine, and I agree, Broderick was so wrong it was painful, particularly the material with Martha. (Will never understand why he was chosen). But it didn't ruin what was a terrific duet. I was in the front mezz at the Majestic, and I'll never forget that night (a Sunday, if memory serves). |
