| What a lovely remembrance of the great and unique Barbara Harris. I loved her as a kid on the cast recording of The Apple Tree, which I could check out from our local public library in the deep South, far from Broadway. I was also later able to check out the album of On A Clear Day..., and they became tinder to my rapidly growing obsession with musicals. I was later awestruck by her performance in Robert Altman's brilliant, devastating film, Nashville. Grateful for these and other records of some of her indelible performances. |
