I agree with your opinion of the show but how silly to suggest it was not an opinion. And I am not so sure anything any better would have killed for the Belasco in July for an August opening. It's quite common for seemingly lousy shows to get theatres over the summer since it is revenue and it is also reasonable enough to dovetail it with a fall show if it fails. Certainly the Shuberts know how to kick it to the curb, and have every right to do so.
