| The main reason to put Briones in Featured for this production was that he would likely have won, or at least I could clearly say I would have given it to him in that category. I've never considered who I'd vote for, Platt or Briones, but either way Platt would have for sure won. The MS revival didn't have nearly the buzz or momentum that the original production had, naturally, so even giving an incredible performance in a big and challenging role, and it being a historic thing for an Asian actor... I still doubt he'd have a chance against Platt. |
