| This is an astute review and though these plays may not be Shakespeare’s best, I was grateful to see a production of them since they are so rarely done. The cast has an impressive grasp of the language and the pacing is far from slow. I wish Oscar Eustis has found space at the Public for this production because it deserves to be seen by a larger audience. The Public did pick up NAATCO’s very good staging of Awake and Sing so perhaps the Public will bring this Henry VI to their complex in the future. |
