| Phantom, les mis, hamilton and wicked are based on books. Jersey boys, dear even hansen, come from away are not from movies. Miss saigon and rent are loosly based on operas. For every Producers or hairspray there are a dozen flops of movie to musicals. So i dont buy into the familar name of a moviee spells success. |
