| My advice is to tread lightly and not spend a lot of money on lawyers. Years ago I tried to get the rights to a TV show from the person who wrote the scripts - it went so far that they were negotiating percentages of t-shirt & concession sales and I spent a ton on an entertainment lawyer. After months of back and forth - one day they just said "Sorry, turns out we don't own the rights." |
