but it is not 79% accurate relative to the question it addresses, because there is nothing about that algorithm that explains why one show is successful and another is not. We can't even make sabermetrics work in baseball. How is some naive algorithm going to help predict the unpredictable?
There is a boatload of data that is incredibly useful to a Broadway show but this is just a silly game that doesn't hold up under even the slightest of scrutiny. |
