The cast tells stories of how Bennett would change who would get hired in previews. I always found that odd. I once wrote a paper about the show in high school and my theory was all the people who told positive hopeful stories got hired. Diana, Val, Mike etc. The downbeat people don't get hired: all the At the Ballet women.
